Philip J. Maiarana

Ramos & Ramos Spotlight

We would like to take an opportunity over the next couple months to spotlight members of the Ramos & Ramos team. Our team is your team. Our winning team consists of attorneys, paralegals, rounded out with our office staff all pulling in one direction to and winning together.

Today’s spotlight is on Philip J. Maiarana, an attorney with Ramos & Ramos. Phil is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Medaille College (B.A. cum laude, 2012). Phil went on to graduate from University of Buffalo Law School (J.D., 2016).

Phil is much more than an excellent personal injury attorney, as he is also an avid basketball player. He was a member of the Men’s Basketball team for 4 years at Medaille College and was the leading scorer his senior year. Phil tries to stay sharp by continuing to play to this day, often dropping a 3 from his desk.

Aside from advocating for his clients and helping them in a time when they need it most, much like sports Phil likes being an attorney because there are winners and there are losers, and Phil really likes to win. Besides basketball he also runs ½ marathons with his amazing wife Samantha and is an avid Bills supporter with season tickets.

Did you know: although his last name is spelled Maiarana it is pronounced “Mary Anna” much like how sports icon Brett Favre pronounces his name “Farv”.
